fun and friendly approach to Pole
Dancing has created a much loved and experienced
company. We are based in the North East of
England and provide Pole classes for all
abilities in Newcastle, Hexham and Preston. For
classes in Glasgow and Edinburgh we recommend
our sister company (details can be found on the
classes page). We can also provide a home Pole
Dancing experience for those of you who are too
shy to come to one of our venues.
Northern Pole Dance
is now the longest running company in the North
East dedicated solely to providing Pole Dance
classes. It has been brought to our attention
that newer companies recently have taken our
NPD formats & copied them. This includes
taking direct wording from our website &
Facebook group.... We do not advocate their
plagiarism of our hard work and we are in no way
linked to any company that may advertise a
similar Party or Class format.
Northern Pole Dance
is an experienced and successful Pole Dance
company, our team work extremely hard to ensure
our Parties and Classes are the best possible
Pole Experience you can get. The company started
out as a hobby, with the intention to provide
Pole Dancing as a form of fitness and fun in
areas where no reputable companies remained.
However it quickly escalated to become a full
time job! NPD has grown in size and popularity
in a very short space of time to be the popular
and much loved company it is today.

Pole Dancing is a

the poles and instructors for your pole dance party
and all our staff are fully experienced.

Name. Aimee
Position. Director
Description. I've been pole dancing
for about 4 years now and have found
such a difference in my strength and
body tone. I've recenty taken a year
off to have a baby and have been
overtaken by all the instructors and
students in ability! I took lessons
in Newcastle and rapidly sped
through the ranks to get to the same
level as my amazing instructor. I
then began teaching with the company
before being encouraged by them to
start up on my own!
I have a performing background
starting with Ballet lessons from a
very young age. I joined Youth
Theatre in school and thoroughly
enjoyed every performance. I left
school and began a Performing Arts
Diploma in College. Nowadays I have
a "proper job" but I still love to
show off and I love to see the
difference I can make to women's
confidence in just a couple of hours
with pole dancing.

Description. Helen (aka Saffron)
used to dance in Blu Velvet in
Newcastle before becoming an
instructor alongside Aimee for a
number of companies based in
Newcastle. Helen is super-sexy on
the pole and has an amazing ability
to spread her confidence and get
everyone strutting their funky stuff
making her one of the best party
instructors we have here at NPD.

Position. Instructor
Description. Kelly is the youngest
(and smallest) of our instructors!
She takes on the role of the most
advanced member of the team after
completing her classes at
super-advanced level in Newcastle a
couple of years ago. Kelly is become
the most valuable member of the
Northern Pole instructors! She is by
far the best instructor upside down
she just gets better and better. She
is worth her weight in gold to
Northern Pole and we don't know what
we'd do without her!! She teaches
classes and parties as well as being
the best we've got for demo events.
Name. Jess
Position. Instructor
Description. Jess has been with us
from beginner level class way back
when NPD first started.
Unfortunately for us Jess left our
Hexham class to go to university but
on the up-side she is now our
Preston instructor after finding a
gap in the market! We're all really
excited for Jess with the start of
the brand new classes. Jess was a
finalist in our Pole Idol 2008
competition and was only just piped
to the post in the final dance off.

Position. Dancer & Hen Party
Instructor
Description. Amber is our Scottish
Director, she is a great asset to
the team and has given us the
opportunity to open our classes in
Edinburgh and Glasgow. Amber trained
at many different pole schools in
Glasgow as well as working as a
professional pole and lap dancer in
clubs in Glasgow. She worked in
Seventh Heaven and Truffles and has
taught male and female dancers for
many years. More recently Amber has
been working for a number of other
pole schools before joining us as
well.
